Ok, I've added information to the BeBox Zone about two projects which are known to have used the GeekPort. They are: - AmigaControl and - MrThermistor As more projects are discovered or developed, they will be added to the GeekPort Project List. Does anyone know of any other GeekPort projects? Cheers Andrew

Does anyone know anything more about GeekPort related projects? I know when the BeBox was cancelled in early 1997, a lot of people began talking about a PCI card with a GeekPort (and potentially IR ports etc. as well). This was to fit into the PowerMac clones (which at the time became the platform of choice for BeOS). I'm not aware of which companies may have actually started working on such a PCI card. Does anyone know? Similarly, there was talk of a breakout box with GeekPort etc. (called BeBoxette as I recall??). Does anyone have more information on this? I have found some old text from Ephraim Lindquist (the guy who thought of the BeBoxette), but I'm intrigued to see a picture of exactly what was planned. So, any of you early BeBox owners, rack your brains, check your old archived information from 1997 and let me know what you find Cheers! Andrew
